A 27-year-old man was arrested after allegedly attacking two men in separate assaults in Central Park early Monday morning, according to ABC7NY.

Driving the News: David Luciano faces two counts each of assault and criminal obstruction of breathing, plus one count of petit larceny following the attacks that police describe as random, per AMNY.

Catch Up Quick: The first assault occurred around 1:30 am near 62nd Street and West Drive, where Luciano allegedly punched, kicked and choked an 18-year-old victim, police told ABC7NY. Minutes later, near 93rd Street and West Drive, he allegedly threw a 37-year-old man to the ground and bit his ear, the outlet notes.

What’s New: During one of the attacks, police say Luciano stole a bicycle from a witness who tried to intervene, AMNY reports. Officers later recovered the bike after searching the park and also took Luciano into custody, the newspaper adds.
